Riventic founders Sebastian Lang and Benjamin Rolf now lead the online seminar "AI in Production and Logistics" at the German Logistics Association (BVL). Over one morning, it shows specialists and managers how to apply AI methods in their own company, from the first potential analysis to a prioritized implementation roadmap.
With this, Riventic brings its dual role of research and industrial practice into an established training format in the logistics sector. Sebastian Lang is Junior Professor for AI Application in Production and Logistics at OVGU Magdeburg and leads the "Artificial Intelligence" theme group at the BVL. Benjamin Rolf researches and works on AI and simulation in production and logistics.
The seminar stays hands-on: instead of pure theory, participants test in interactive exercises which AI applications are worthwhile for their operation, and draft a first roadmap for them. It also covers the proof of AI competence under Article 4 of the EU AI Act, which is gaining importance for companies.
